Description
The
OK range of self
assembly outdoor kitchen
structures is designed
to extend your barbeque
and outdoor entertaining
season for all year
round and all weather
activity. No need to
cancel parties or be
restricted in outdoor
cooking due to poor
weather.
No need to cover up your
barbeque or store it away for
the winter months.
Our
Outdoor Kitchen and
Covered Barbecue systems
are available in
three standard sizes and
three standard roof
designs to suit all available
barbeques and ovens using
wood, charcoal and gas.
When our heatproof liners and
cappings are fitted the
structure will endure the
fiercest barbeque safely. The
structures are
manufacture in flat pack
self-assembly
modules and can be
installed by one person
in just a few hours.
Preparation work is
minimal as the product
can stand on an existing
patio / deck or an
arrangement of concrete
slabs.
Please note
- the
footprint must be
mounted flat and level
and the structure must be
fixed to the base with
fixings provided. Once
assembled your outdoor
kitchen should be painted or
stained in the scheme of
your choice within a few
weeks. If kept in good
decorative order the
structure should have a
very long lifespan
requiring minimum of
structural maintenance.

is possible with layout,
accessories and roof
covering options to suit
your garden
Self-Assembly
Overview
- Fix
the base frame sides
to the patio or deck
using the template
supplied to ensure
correct positioning.
- The
rear enclosure wall is offered
to the side frame
and fixed.
- The
roof support posts
are fixed to the
frame.
- The
roof sections are
lifted clicked into
place and fixed.
- The
pre cut ridge tiles
are fitted to the
roof joints using
hammer and nails
- Heat
proof liner and wall
cappings are fitted.
- All
fixings are provided and
tools required are
listed (simple DIY tools
and a stepladder only)
After
just a few hours you are
ready to cook and
entertain.
Customising:
Roof
Standard
kits are fitted with
fibreglass reinforced
bitumen shingle tiles in
speckly brown, sparkling
dark grey, red or green
(a 30 year roofing
product). Our roof
sections have
significant strength and
can be delivered without
roof tiles for local
tiling with any tiles or
slates of your choice.
An option of pre-fitted
cedar shingles is
available from us at
extra cost (see
price-list).
Fitting
to existing brick
barbeque structures. The
post and roof system can
be purchased separately
to fix to existing brick
barbeque structures.
Please measure carefully
before you order and
ensure the existing
structure is sound,
square and plumb.
Cappings
and fireproof liners.
When
used as a barbeque or fire-pit
enclosure the area
immediately above the
fire bed must be
protected from the heat
generated. We recommend
our own liners (12mm
Viroc tm fireproof board
as used for wood burning
stove enclosures) and
cappings for this. These
are available with your
order pre cut, drilled
and provided with the
correct fixings and
instructions. You may
wish to provide
worktops, liners and
cappings yourself but
you should be sure that
the materials are
correct for purpose and
safe.
Guttering
You
may wish to fit
guttering, which can be
purchased from your
local DIY store to suit
or purchase a pre cut
kit from us for delivery
with your order.
Timber
Treatment
The
base beams are in
contact with the ground
/ patio and are supplied
pressure treated as
standard. The cladding
in gable roof sections
is pre treated
featheredge boards and
are available in either
brown or green tanalised
timber. Please specify
with your order (Gable
roof models only).
Other
parts of the building
can be stained or
painted as suits your
garden. Inside the roof
we recommend good
quality varnish, which
can be cleaned from
smoke discolouration
occasionally to maintain
the attractive look of
the timbers.
Hanging
Baskets, Kitchen Tools etc.
All
parts of the structure
are of sufficient
strength for attachment
of basket brackets and
tool hooks etc.
Lighting
and electricity
Lighting
can be fixed on the
structure or inside the
roof easily.
