The addition of plumbing and an internal room structure to a well-constructed “Insulated Garden Building” make it possible for guests or family members to stay over or live in comfort.
We provide a full design and build service including fitting kitchenettes, shower rooms as part of the project. This gives your garden building a whole new dimension. It is always possible to achieve this enhancement. The level of facilities, comfort and insulation are your choice. Specifications for these buildings differ significantly according to budget and purpose. Our timber frame and or sips constructed projects offer the highest levels of comfort and insulation available. In effect this is simply a "tiny house".
Planning permission and full building regulation compliance may be required when used as a permanent "residence" If it used "ancillary" to your main property then all is usually OK. Renting out is different and requires permissions for sure. Note: ancillary is the key word.
If the project is offering larger than 30 sq metres of space then building regulations will be required (this is simply a size related issue) - see our planning /building regulations information page or ask for our advice.
